departments, or test screenings. These are films born on passion, grit, and the
belief that art doesn’t need approval to matter.
Whether it’s a DIY feature shot on weekends, a guerrilla doc from the edge of the
world, or a boundary-breaking short that would never get greenlit — 100%
Independent is where they belong.
Come for the stories no one else will tell. Stay for the community that believes
independence isn’t a genre — it’s a way of life.

Rules
1. All films must be in English or with English subtitles.Non-English language films without subtitles will not be considered.
2. All submitted films and projects must be free of any legal disputes and the director must own all rights to music and exhibitions.
3. Applications must be submitted through FilmFreeway's online screening.
4. Entry fees are non-refundable.
5. We have no requirements for a movie premiere or completion date.
6. If you are not a winner, you may submit your movie again.
7. There are no restrictions on year of release.
8. The Film Festival reserves the right to change the program without prior notice.
